Geraldine is the director of The Change Group.
She is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and is a member of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec, Canada, www.ordrepsy.qc.ca. As an EMDRIA Consultant-in-training she is able to offer supervision for EMDR therapists who are working towards certification.
Geraldine is a certified Gottman Couple therapist and has 15 years of clinical practice.
As a trainer in corporate, Geraldine is a certified Emergenetics® Associate and a certified ESP (Selection Program) consultant.
Before working for The Change Group Geraldine spent 3 years at the counselling Place in Singapore where she worked as a senior psychologist for adult and couple clients. She intervened on crisis interventions, provided supervision for her peers and gave Emergenetics and couple workshops.
She also worked 2 years in mental health services for adults in France and Canada and 2 years in the German-French school in Stuttgart, Germany as a Psychologist working primarily with families facing the challenges of expatriation. Geraldine's main field of expertise is anxiety disorders, trauma and abuse. She is experienced in working with post traumatic stress disorder, abuse, natural disaster, anxiety, phobia, OCD, grief and losses, depression, stress management, anger management, clinical mental health concerns, parenting, communication skills in relationship, and coping with life's challenges.
Geraldine as a Certified Gottman Couple Therapist is also an experienced couple therapist.
She helps couples work around their relationships, develop friendship, manage conflict and create shared meaning. She addresses issues related to affairs, intimacy and emotional disconnection.
Geraldine works using EMDR and Psychodynamics, in which she was originally trained. However, she integrates other tools such as CBT or Emergenetics in her practice. She works with couple using the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Geraldine is fluent in English, French, and German.
